The Wonder Sound at the New Children’s Museum

We collaborated with the artistic and museum staff to evaluate The Wonder Sound installation through multiple prototypes. Wonder Sound is a complex labyrinth of visual, aural, and tactile experiences. We conducted surveys, interviews, and floor observations to gather real-time data about visitor engagement through each prototype.  

The completed installation is a multifaceted environment, making visitor observations virtually impossible. In response, we brainstormed new tools, giving children GoPros to record their play inside the installation. The resulting videos provided birds-eye views that captured these unique experiences.
